We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michele Dahan, MS MSc as the Cardiovascular Institute of Philadelphia’s new Executive Director. She is taking the helm at an opportune time, as we celebrate CVI’s 25th year of providing cardiovascular educational opportunities and partnerships for the cardiovascular healthcare community.  Michele brings her passion for education, leadership, and strong strategic planning to CVI Philadelphia.  Her industry and life sciences experiences have shaped her insights toward creative planning and building strong relationships with industry sponsors.  She is driven by understanding sponsorship dynamics and revealing new opportunities for collaboration.  “What drew me to CVI was its mission and how closely it aligned with my educational goals, preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals and sustaining collaborative environments for all stakeholders.”  said Michele.  Prior to accepting this appointment, Michele held multiple roles within the pharmaceutical industry concentrating on commercial marketing and operations.  Most recently, she was accountable for developing and maintaining all customer facing programs for Salix Pharmaceuticals, a division of Bausch Health.  We acknowledge the evolving landscape of medical education, and Michele is the ideal candidate to lead CVI into the future. Her extensive experience working in industry and program delivery will ensure that CVI continues to maintain its programmatic excellence, while building engagement with stakeholders and looking to the future.  In Michele, we’ve found a passionate, committed, and experienced leader. We look forward to you meeting her at one of our upcoming programs. Thank you for your continued support of CVI and our mission.
