IMPORTANT NEW UPDATE – 6/10/2022

CVI Announces Guidelines for In Person Accredited Education Programs

We continue our commitment to take active steps to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all healthcare professionals who join us for our CVI educational programs. With that in mind, we pledge to make every effort to reduce the spread of COVID and other viruses at CVI events.

Please review before registering for our in-person CVI education programs:

  • All registrants, faculty, exhibitors and staff are required to upload proof of COVID vaccination prior to attending any CVI program
  • We require that all hotel service staff (indoors) remain gloved and masked when interacting with CVI program guests
  • Although not required, we recommend that all guests wear appropriate masks/face coverings while attending indoor CVI education programs when not actively eating, drinking or speaking from the podium.
  • We will use a color-coded system on name tags to disclose your preference to interact fully, interact at a distance, or to remain fully distanced
  • We require that host facilities increase the number of restroom cleanings throughout the day
  • Appropriate hand sanitizer will be available throughout the meeting space
  • Seating will be spaced out as much as possible in the meeting room
  • Registrants have the option of eating your lunch in a dining room setting or taking it back to your individual conference seat to allow for increased distancing

Any questions, or suggestions on how we can add to our new CVI safety protocols are welcomed.

CVI offers a calendar of live, in-person accredited continuing education programs (CME/CEU/SDMS/VOICE) including Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), Clinical Cardiology, Multi-Modality Cardiac Imaging in Women, Echocardiography, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, and Nuclear Cardiology/PET Imaging.  CVI also hosts an in-depth program for cardiology fellows with an interest in Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine.

CVI also organizes several non-accredited, focused-topic seminars on lipid management, coronary-structural-peripheral disease, diabetes, heart failure, arrhythmia management and more.

Additionally, CVI has launched a series of non-accredited online education/informational programs including CVI Heartbites; providing physicians and allied healthcare professionals an opportunity to view educational segments at their convenience.
