CVI’s 30th Annual Cardiology Update: Clinical Management of Heart Disease
The target audience is Physicians (clinical and interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiac surgeons, family practice, internal, emeergency and geriatric medicine and primar care); Advanced Practice Providers (nurse practitioners, physician assistants); Nurses; Fellows; Residents; Medical Students and Trainees; Medical Assistants and all Allied and Home Healthcare Professionals who care for patients with cardiovascular disease.

This year’s agenda features an outstanding diverse faculty of national thought leaders, including our Keynote Presenters, Drs. Jessica Pena, Roger Blumenthal and Jennifer Green. CVI’s Cardiology Update features regional experts providing the most relevant and up-to-date information on diagnosis, management and prevention of cardiovascular diseases; and addresses other important issues in healthcare.
Keynote presentations highlight Equity in Cardiovascular health, Advances in the Treatment of Lipid Disorders, Heart Failure, Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease.
Our later morning breakout sessions offer attendees the opportunity to select between:
*Breakout Session 1: Cardiometabolic Disease (The COORDINATE-diabetes trial; Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease; Pharmacotherapy for Weight Loss)
*Breakout Session 2: Management of Non- Coronary ASCVD (Peripheral Artery Disease; Management of Intracranial Atherosclerotic Disease; Aortic Atherosclerotic Disease) and
*Breakout Session 3: Management of Complex Heart Failure Cases (Identifying and Treating Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy; Cardiac amyloidosis; HFpEF Diagnosis and Management)
Afternoon sessions focus on: Controversies in Clinical EP; Mitral Valve Therapies; Cardio-Oncology; Pulmonary Artery Hypertension and Effective Management of LDL.
