Overview
Cardiac CT has become essential for cardiologists, offering a robust, non-invasive assessment of coronary artery disease (CAD) with high accuracy. It provides comprehensive anatomical information on plaque stenosis and composition without the risks of invasive procedures and is now recommended in national guidelines. Its multifaceted roles include risk stratification, disease detection, coronary plaque quantification, defining congenital heart disease, planning structural interventions, and assessing ischemia. With advancements in CT perfusion imaging and CT fractional flow reserve (FFR), cardiac CT is evolving into a complete imaging approach, combining anatomical and functional imaging. This program aims to raise awareness about these advancements among general cardiologists, primary care physicians, advanced practice providers, and all healthcare professionals involved in ordering imaging tests.
The dinner program does not offer CME/CEU credits.
